Labour retains Shelthorpe seat in a close run by-election

On 3rd August there was a by-election in Shelthorpe Ward.  Having worked very hard on the campaign, we’re delighted to report that Richard Huddlestone is the new Labour Councillor for the Ward.  He won by 4 votes which shows the importance of a well run campaign and the need to Get Out The Vote on election day.  Congratulations to Richard who will be an excellent councillor and to all of those who helped throughout the Campaign.
