Post elections May 2015

Conservatives strengthen their grip on Charnwood Borough Council.

As the Tories gained a majority nationally, so they defeated good Labour Councillors locally - often by small margins, but nevertheless they leave the council and we thank them for their service.  We would like to thank all candidates and voters for participating in this election.  Labour has been reduced from 16 of the 52 members to nine - three men and six women.

The full results can be found on Charnwood Borough Council website.
